Exteriors : Aluminum Capping
Provides a cap that protects the original under-lying material. It prevents infiltration into the structure and future wood rot by protecting it from water and snow. Sealants are used when capping to provide protection from moisture entering beneath. Capping may also provide increase in energy efficiency by providing an extra barrier.
